    Creating this original project from scratch was an exercise in world-building that required having a broad overarching view of an entire world as well as being able to detail out specific elements.  What follows is a collection of narrative imagery, art direction and visual development from this world.
  • Keyframe Art
    One of the major tasks was the creation of narrative imagery to describe the look and feel of the world.  I wanted to convey a sense of exuberance, vitality and power.
  • Culture Creation
    There was also the creation of 4 different cultures that all had to be distinct, yet stylistically consistent.  Special care was taken to make sure that the right shapes, colors and materials were used to express the essence of each culture.
